Default Need Help Tracking Down Misc. Parts After Spark Plug Change

Hello there!

I replaced spark plugs in my 2001 Grand Caravan 3.3 following the directions from somewhere on this forum, removing the wiper tray/motor etc... .

In the process of taking off the top plastic wiper tray cover, and removing the screws that hold it down, the plastic parts that the star screws on the ends thread into broke off (one of them was already cracked, it appears). While the plastic tray is held down solid by the screws down the middle, I'd like to cinch down the ends, too, to keep the rattling down a bit. Anybody have any idea what the part number is for those plastic pieces so I can track them down?

Secondly, when doing the plugs, I also replaced the battery. I dropped and now cannot find the little nut that holds down the battery retaining clip. Anybody have any idea what size nut or thread that is? Was just going to go to the local hardware store and replace it, but I didn't want to just grab a zillion nuts and hope they work.

Thanks again for any help you can provide!

-Jake

Have you considered a local U-Pull-It junkyard? I find many of those kind of parts I need at the junkyard.

The Mopar part number for the plastic piece is 6505897AA (supersedes part number 5019266AA), description is "NUT, Plastic Snap-in, kit containing 4 nuts". MSRP is $4.45, but you should be able to find something similar, that will work, in an auto part store.

For the battery hold down nut, it is an M8 x 1.25, Coned Washer Nut, a standard M8 x 1.25 nut with a flat washer would also work.
The Mopar part number is 06504572, MSRP $5.50.

Nice! I recently needed those clips and the parts guy at Chrysler told me they can't be ordered. Thanks!
