thanks tizzy for the info, I realized yesterday in our coldest day thus far that the blower motor didn't turn on, so I ended up using my jumpers to make it work temporarily....I will look into replacing the blower motor as well after I measure current draw by motor and compare it to the rear motor, I noticed that when the motor wouldn't turn the resistor was getting very hot, tomorrow I will put my amp clamp on both front and rear motors to check draw of both motors....I often in the past have rebuilt these blower motors from previous vehicles for cheap with a set of bushings that are commonly sourced by a local guy who services hvac household stuff...I will post motor voltage and draw results tomorrow too, thanks allot guys

update....had to test tonight and tizzy you are one smart cookie....front blower motor draw is 20.5amps x 11.8 volts (241.9 watts)with jumper wires installed at full power, and rear blower motor draw is 14.5 amps x 11.75 volts (170.375 watts) with jumper wires installed.... a pretty big difference and tomorrow I will pull blower motor out and check before ordering a new one too...also I notice the rear blower motor works with front resistor in place.....I haven't really been paying much attention to it if it works intermittently like the front....but again will keep everyone posted but at this point I think the culprit was blower motor causing my issue, I will remove blower motor from front and repair and will put original resistor in to check functionality and update....thanks again tizzy for the info....I should have checked draw immediately during my diagnosis...
