Two questions. 1. Does anyone know where I can purchase a NEW Body Control Module for a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan? I have the worst luck with used and I cant locate a new one. and 2. Does a dealership need to program it? Ive read a few topics regarding the BCM on other sites and some say yes and some say no. Please help!

 

BCM's were never sold new, they come from a company that refurbishes them. They also have the odometer in them so they program the mileage in them before you get it. Vehicle cannot be driven between order and install. If you have theft alarm, it needs to be turned on, otherwise plug and play.

 

Any idea which company Tizzy? Just curious if it's one we've all heard of.

 

Not sure who it is now, it changes every few years it seems like.
