Default Melting resistor

My front blower motor went out and the Resistor harness is melting does anybody know why this is happeningit has happened twice does anybody know what I can do to correct thisthis is on a Dodge grand Caravan 2004

May be the blower motor bearings are worn creating too much friction making it draw too much current and loading the circuit.

Amen to that. They made the thermal fuse on the new resistors a little to large so the connector melts before the resistor fails. Need a new blower motor, new resistor and a connector kit.
