Hoping for some help.


I just replaced my power steering fluid by removing the return line and having the fluid dump into a pan. In the bottom of my pan I found a piece of plastic that is about an inch long. One opening is larger than the other. It may have been inside the hose. My question is - could this be a reducer from the return line??? I am not sure where it came from. Thanks for any help.

 

I looked online at PET's, none showed a reducer. I contacted a dealer to ask them, they could not see it in their parts diagrams.


Conclusion - Plastic part is from somewhere else.
