Well wife was driving 2008 GC SXT. Window was down at the drive thru. Would not go up.

I took the door panel off.
Removed the motor from the roller mechanism.
Plugged the switch in and the motor ran strong.
I poked around the center spline briefly with a screw driver to see if I could turn it a fraction easily.

I remounted the motor. Raised the window completely.

Sealed it back up. I bought a Dorman regulator.

Is the window likely binding in the track?
Is the regulator binding?
Or is there likely a momentary loss of contact in the motor?

Best guesses or experiences for further trouble shooting this weekend
