Default TIPM Internal Drivers

I would like to learn more about these internal drivers. I have a 2006 service manual. Is it in there, or is it only on newer rigs? Any advice?

This is not service manual stuff. 2006 is different anyway.

Dorman now sells TIPM's. I dont know what they cost though. For a 2011 the part number is 599-983. I would think they would be cheaper than factory. When you shut the van off do you hear the fuel pump running?
