Hi - New to Forum. I have a 2011 GC. It runs fine in cold and hot weather. However when it is over 80-85 degrees out and I let it idle (a/c on or off) for 10-15 mins then drive it in 5 - 10 mins it will drop into limp gear. I can't manually shift it at this point. I pull over and let it cool for 5 - 10 mins until when I restart it I can manually shift it. I know at that point it is ready to go and I can start off again. If I don't let it idle again it won't happen again even if it is still hot or hotter out unless I stop and idle again. Never does it cold. Warranty is coming up soon and want to help direct service to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Driving near dealer when it happened once and drove right there in limp mode and they would not look at it. Thanks for the help.

 

What would they not look at it? How's the fluid level and condition? How many miles?
