[3rd Gen : 96-00]: How can I disable bad door chime?
Does anyone know which fuse will disable the door ajar chime? It's always on, even when all doors are tightly shut and the ignition is off. It's drained the battery so much that I can't even jump start the van: By the time the battery is charged a little, the chime comes on, depleting the battery while it's trying to charge more.
Right now, I can't even start the engine or drive the car. Need to disable the chime first before trying to charge again.

There is no fuse just for the chime. You can pull the IOD fuse but that will kill much more than your door chimes. The chime is inside the body control module better known as the BCM. It controls much of the electronics on the van. Removing the IOD fuse for a few minutes may reset the BCM and your chime.
There's every chance you have a bad door ajar switch on one of the doors. Since the driver's door gets the most abuse I would look there first. It's just below the door latch on the "B" pillar. That's the structure just aft of the door. The sliding door switches are on the "C" pillars. Not positive but the rear hatch switch may be part of the latch itself inside the hatch. Push the switch many times. Wiggle and jiggle it.
