Default Wire harness below and ahead of rad.

Any idea what this wire is for? I just bought a 2004 GC and i came across this wire....not sure what it is for...i know it isnt for the foglights...

It's the sensor for your outside temp display.

That is the ambient temperature sensor, it appears that the mounting tab broke off.

Here's a picture to compare:


The portion of the sensor circled in red is broken off.

Sweet. Thanks you guys. Yea i found it just hanging from the bumper...I always thought OAT sensors were on the upper part of the vehicle, but we all learn sonething new every day, eh?
