I went to the equipment look-up site and found this van (vin 1B4GT54L1VB346106) came with "Loading & Towing Group III" and "Trailer Tow Prep Group". There is no hitch on the vehicle. Can anyone tell me what these items include?
Also, I've heard 97 - 00 trannys were not good. Any thoughts? THANK YOU!

 

I know you get the load leveling shocks, should have an aux. trans cooler and an oil cooler. Not sure what else is involved.

And I have no issue with the transmission, I'd be more worried about the AWD. Not a fan.

 

Thanks very much! I've since learned to run the VIN for equipment, optional stow & go, and will steer clear of the AWD. Evidently you're not the only one who doesn't care for it.

I knew about the power issue, and the gas mileage suffers, but I didn't know about the leaking. Thanks. Actually, if you have a year model you prefer, or has a reputation as the most reliable workhorse of the GC line, please share your wisdom! Thanks again. Oh, and I don't like stow & go.
