1st turn over no start now wont turn over at all?

254K 3.8L

Friends said it wont turn over so it was towed to my house. Turn key and dash lights come on but turn to start causes nothing but relays in relay box to click. Battery old and terminals look like crap so next day replaced battery and cleaned up all connections. Started and ran just fine repeated and no issue. Figured it was fixed so let it run for 45 minutes than took it for test drive. The thing ran like a 250K dodge does and only thing strange I saw was the oil light popped on and off a few times while driving (oil is full). Than I got on it a little and it hesitated and died. I put in neutral and it turned over and over but would not start again. Rolled to a stop. Than it suddenly wont turn over alt all. Same issue as the day before. Dash light on and relays in box clicking but no starter turning. I checked battery voltage and its 12.8 and to be sure hooked up good jump box and no change.

So...any ideas what could cause this? Is there any common electrical gremlins in this model I should know about (checked for chafing of harness that rests on transmission, its fine). I'm lost.

Ignition switch?

Thanks!

First try connecting a jumper wire between contacts 30 and 87 at the starter relay socket. Starter should spin with no key in the ignition. If it doesn't move with the jumper in place, try turning the crank pulley, just to confirm that the engine is not seized.
