Default Cruise control inop

My cruise stopped working and wow i found out how much i relied on it.
I first looked for a fuse(there isn't one). Then i looked on the web and found some ideas.I started with the easiest first.
Tail lights working.
vacuum leak. Funny how good the hoses looked after all these years.
I ordered a new brake light switch. My mistake was getting the cheapest one off ebay.11.00 It ended up having weak tabs and the plunger shaft that was to long.Broke when installing. I ended up buying a mopar one from a dealer(on ebay) That was correct. 17.00
I also replaced the speed control servo. What a pain that was when it came to getting that cotter pin back in place.
In my case it was the speed control servo that was the culprit. It was said to be a take off.I am not sure what that all ment but it was about forty bucks cheaper than units that come in a factory box.It appears new and worked. 54.00
I have found that stuff from China isn't that good(yeah i figured that out long ago) But a lot of stuff isn't marked or comes from a place with an American sounding name. Like Detroit axle. I would recommend considering paying a few bucks extra so you get what you are paying for. Many China products just don't match up fit wise.
I hope this helps someone else.

Nice work. Thanks for passing the experience on to us. Cheap parts? Ya you live and learn. Been there. "Take off"? Hmm. Must be a reman or a cleaned up junk yard part. EBay?
