I don't see any place to run a chord from my battery into the interior of the van :[ I'm a novice when it comes to anything to do with a vehicle any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance :]

 

Sometimes they can be fished along side existing wiring harnesses. Some vehicles have unused rubber plugs that can be used. Be sure to protect the wire from future damage the entire route. Also be sure to fuse it at the battery.
