First time poster...be gentle.

2013 Dodge Grand Caravan - 85,000 kms

My wife was pulling into the driveway and turned to left to go into the parking spot and the steering wheel locked. She is pretty sure the vehicle didnt lose power. She turned off the ignition, started it back up and the steering worked fine. A bit concerning obviously. Called Dodge and they just passed the buck and said they have never heard of this problem and would have to talk to someone out east. ( I'm from the West ). She has since taken for a quick drive around the our area and no issues. Any suggestions what this could've been and what the concern level is?

I'd start with giving the steering system a basic once over for starters. Pretty simple thing to do. Check the fluid, belts, pump, etc.
