P0509. IAC code. cut, spliced and ran new wires to IAC solenoid/motor. confirmed proper wire and pin locations. at the ECM (located @ front left corner behind , connector C2, Orange plug, second one from front, pins 28 & 38. Any help or ideas on this? From what i've looked up so far, its the ECM

 

You didn't give much information there, such as the diagnostics you did before cutting the wires. It would be a waste of everyone's time to suggest things you've already done.

 

I'm not suggesting anything. Just looking for advice. My meter i realized is nfg so i assumed the one wire was broken but alas the wire swap did nothing. Is there anything else in the system that may activate this code other than the iac solenoid?
