Do you know for sure it's coming from the solenoid?
I have had them leak from the o-ring on the dipstick tube, which will make it look like the solenoid is leaking.

Regardless, a quick search brings up Solenoid gaskets for about $6.

Solenoid is on the front of the trans, under the airbox. The dipstick tube goes into the trans right behind the solenoid pack.

How sure are you you have the 4 speed trans? To my knowledge they dropped it from the 3.0 after 93. If you have mechanical linkage going from your throttle body to the trans, you have the 3 speed trans, which has no solenoid pack.

The gear indicator on the dash should sort it out. P R N D 2 L would be for 3-speed, P R N D 3 L would be 4-speed. The 'L's shown here representing Low gear may show up as '1's on some dashboards.

my gear indicator reads PRND3L so from what i gather it is a 4 speed

That should be a 4 speed then.
Check the pack, check the dipstick tube, also check the trans cooler lines as they go in right above the solenoid pack. My bet would be on the cooler lines.

I honestly don't know on that, but I will be looking for the same answer as my blower just started the same thing today.
