Our '99 Sport with 198k starts up quickly, shifts into reverse quickly but after shifting into 1st the engine revs but no first gear. Wait about 15 seconds at idle and it kicks into first. This past week it's been getting worse and taking longer to shift into 1st. Almost any start hot or cold and 1st is a problem.

From reverse I noticed tonight when I downshift into 1st the tranny does engage almost immediately but still a delay into 1st. I know these codes aren't very helpful but a Bosch scanner pulled P0700, P0731 Gear 1 incorrect ratio, PO733 Gear 3 incorrect ratio. There was also an ABS code 10 which I haven't researched.

I replaced the solenoid pack from the junk yard about a year ago and it had no affect on the intermittent shifting into 1st.

Other than shifting into 1st, once it gets going the shifting is smooth in higher gears. Any advice is appreciated!
