[3rd Gen : 96-00]: bell housing leak 97' 3.3 L transaxel

I have a 1997 Town & country LXI 3.3L with only 64K on it that has started leaking from inside the bell housing. I was told locally that my best bet is to change the fluid and filter as I haven't changed it since 30K. I've not explored it at all and towed it to my home to try and approach this in a smart way where as not to be doing things twice. I'm guessing something must have moved and clogged something and it's built up pressure making the fluid squeeze passed the front seal, and don't know if this is possible without wrecking the seal?? If it takes removing the engine and tranaxel to fix this I'm thinking another transaxel is the way to go but I really need some advice before I start moving in circles?
If it's trans fluid leaking, it's either the front seal, or your diff pin has bunched through the bell housing. If it's the latter, you'll need a new trans. If it's just the seal, you should be fine with getting it replaced.
I had the same problem with my 1996 Grand Caravan transmission leak before. I removed the transmission and replaced the transmission seal and it was still leaking. Changed it again with the same results. I removed the transmission the 3rd time and observed it. It was not leaking from the seal. It was leaking from the Front Pump Seal. Remove the bolts and pull out the front pump and there is a big O-ring in there. Got it from the dealership for a few dollars and replaced it. It has been holding up for about 9 years now. I have attached some pictures of the leak.
Leak coming out from the Front Pump seal (big O-ring)
Leak was oozing to the top of the transmission. The transmission oil was coming out of the bell housing too.
