At first it was intermittent: sometimes the left lamps (including the dashboard indicator) would flash when the turn signal lever was pushed for a right turn. After a few tries, it would usually flash correctly for a right turn. Now it flashes the left lamps (including the dashboard indicator) every time the turn signals are activated, when the stick is pushed to either the left or right turn position.

Any ideas?

worn out signal switch maybe....just a guess.
some newer models have the signal switch incorporated into the sccm...if its older you may be able to get just a switch assembly.
