Hi,
I just bought an old Caravan Sport (2002) and I noticed it's missing a cover for one of the vents by the feet of the front passenger. If the vent setting includes the feet, this thing blows a LOT of cold air, no matter if it's set on heat or AC. Next to it is a smaller vent that works properly and blow air through there. But I think the missing cover on this big one is supposed to keep it shut? Am I correct? Can I just ductape it? Or any other more permanent solutions? I tried Google to see what the part is called and maybe I can order it, but nothing came up.

In answer to your question, just go ahead and tape it. You'll just won't have a filter element which many cars don't to start with.

 

If you do want to replace the cover the part number is 4885463AA.
