Very difficult to fit rubber hose on metal lines.
Any ideas?

warm up the hose with a heat gun. put some paint on the metal lines. this will allow them to slide on easier. Install the hose clamp. When the paint dries, it will help hold the hose onto the pipe. It holds it so well that if you ever have to remove it, you will have to cut the hose.

Any brand names and part numbers for the correct power steering return hose?

As it turns out, the parts house sold the incorrect hose to me...should have been a 3/8" hose.

On another note, I refilled the power steering reservoir, started the car let it run for 5 mins then shut it off. I began to notice the fluid coming through the cap of the reservoir!
Any thoughts????

Thanks

hard to say without seeing what you have done.

maybe you should buy complete direct fit lines from the dealer instead of buying hose and splicing into the steel lines. its ok add hose into the low psi side return but the high side generates 600psi and needs high pressure crimped hoses and compression fittings.
