Default 2016 Caravan ECON GREEN LIGHT

Seems to be hard on the transmission when this light is engaged. 10 000 KM on the van. Not sure whats happening anyone have this same issue?

Yes, it's a common complaint. It changes the shift points. Most people I talk to just leave it off as there really is no huge difference in mileage to compensate for the roughness in shifting.

Cool man think I'll just leave it off, I'll turn it on when I'm on the freeway. It def don't like it stop and go with it on

I have a 2011 with 186000km and I've left mine off for six years almost unless I'm pusing my luck for gas.lol While it does save fuel because it can't wait to get to sixth gear and stay there I agree with.
Regardless of what Chrysler says I KNOW my transmission does not like it when it's on. I feel like I'm choking the thing to death when I try to slowly speed up. You have to floor it before it downshifts.
