[5th Gen : 08+]: Larger (wider) tires on '10 Town & Country?
Just wondering if anyone has sucessfully run anything wider than the stock rubber on a 5th gen van? If so what size and was it on the stock wheels or aftermarket?
Since I'm running dedicated studded winters on steelies and I need new rubber when spring comes around I'd like to see if I can get something that puts a bit more rubber on the road. I'm really looking to put a decent dedicated summer/rain type tire on and the choices aren't that spectacular in the stock size. Not to mention I think the poor front tire wear relates to the fact that the low end torque of the 4.0L means the stock tires are constantly being overtaxed by anything but the most gentle application of the throttle from a standstill, the traction control frequently kicks in even on dry pavement with the stock sized tires on it now.
