2003 ,3.8 Liter. Sport. This van is has all power options and security ( grey key) . When starting this van with the key it will work for a few key cycles then decide one day to not keep running and set the red dot. If it persists we can use the remote start and be on our way.

Have checked the cluster for bad solder and all good.
Have removed IOD fuse and replaced with no cure.
Have disconnected and reconnected battery still no cure.
Battery in decent shape.
Any suggestions would be great.

Yes , both fobs. Will drive no problem on remote start. just decides one day to red dot fault. Drive with remote and back to normal?
