[4th Gen : 01-07]: 06 Grand Caravan tail light puzzle
Thanks in advance for any assistance, and apologies in advance for a very non technical description. Some of this information might be irrelevant, but I'm not sure what to include so I'm just including everything I know so far.
I have a 2006 Grand Caravan and the passenger tail light has stopped working. The brake light, blinker, and reverse lights all work, but not the tail light itself. I tried replacing the bulbs, swapping the bulb housing, and even replaced the entire assembly, but nothing seems to work. I was told that it could be the wiring, and to check if the lights on the license plate worked as well since it's all in a line. The license plate lights do work. I looked and there are 4 wires coming from the assembly plug, and I traced them under the trunk carpet, but I don't see any issues with the wires themselves being frayed or anything. I used a volt meter on the connectors on both the driver and passenger side and I noticed that while testing on the drivers side it showed voltage right away. While testing on the passenger side, I only got a reading if the blinker was on, or the brakes were pushed. Just testing it while sitting with the light switch on I got no reading, and of course the light doesn't work. I hope this helped narrowing it down in some way because I don't know what to do from here.

May be the FCM or front control module. It's that silver box bolted to the front of the fuse box. It controls much of the exterior lights functions. Could try a reset by disconnecting the negative battery cable for 5 minutes. Could remove it and inspect it's connection to the fuse box for corrosion or damage. Pin 22 is the right side park light power output. Disconnect the battery first. With it removed you can check continuity from there through the fuse box and out to the light socket pin 3.
