Hey All,

I just purchased a . It has the the Media Center 430 (RBZ) on it.

If i push the Uconnect button, it says 'uconnect phone not available'. I'm guessing, from some research, i need the uconnect external kit. Can i get a confirmation on this?


Also how do I know what to buy and where is the best place to buy it without spending a fortune?

Where are you pressing the uconnect button? Is your vehicle equipped with the phone buttons on the left side of the steering wheel?

 

Button is on radio, no buttons on steering wheel. I'm told it does support the Bluetooth it's just not installed and I need the handsfree kit to install.

 

If you don't have the buttons on the steering wheel, then you don't have Bluetooth. The screen is generic. And yes, you need to get the whole kit installed by the dealer.

 

They didn't have the Uconnect buttons on the steering wheel until 2011, the OP has a 2010.

Yes, they all had the buttons on the radio whether they had the bluetooth module or not.
