95 caravan front wipers not working
Hello. I have a 95 dodge caravan and the windshield wipers stopped working yesterday. I am hopeing somebody can help me diagnose the problem.
I checked the fuse and it looks fine. The wiper fluid button still works. When I turn the wiper switch to on I hear a click sound that seems to be coming from near the bottom of the middle storage console, just to the right of the pedals and fuse box. I didn't hear the wiper motor make a noise or hum.
I have heard others talk about a multi functions switch that often goes bad.
Of course, it could be the wiper motor. If so, how easy is it to replace?
Based on the info above, anyone have suggestions or other steps to diagnose the problem?

Go put your ear near the wipers and see if you can hear the electric motor spinning. If so there is a nylon insert that has eroded which connects the wiper arms to the motor. It's about $7 at the dealership and I have replaced two of them on two different vehicles.
If I'm not mistaken, these nylon inserts popping off was a recall item, and they replaced them for free.
Also, you might want to try Rain-X window treatment. At highway speeds you'll never have to use your wipers.
