Default Oil in the spark plug wells

I replaced recently the spark plugs (2001 dodge caravan 2.4L) and found these to cylinder 1 and 2 socked in oil. First I put Lucas stop engine oil leak and after 5 days the spark plugs were completely dry. Then I assumed, I have to add this additive every 3000mi with the oil change. So, I plan to replace valve cover gasket.
I bought FEL-PRO VS50459R {#4781639AB} – from catalog 04781639AA 1 EDZ GASKET, Valve Cover.
Doing this, I was thinking to replace the upper manifold gasket only but they sold them in set of 2 FEL-PRO MS92532 {#4781278AA}. When opened the package one of gaskets was under FEL-PRO MS96912 {#4781485AA} – upper, which don’t match parts catalog 04781253AA Intake Manifold, Serviced - upper
The lower in the package doesn’t have number but from catalog should be 04781278AA 1 EDZ GASKET, Intake Manifold – lower

Do you think is not critical not to replace lower gasket? It will take maybe 3 hours more – needs to drain the coolant and to remove the thermostat also.

Lower intake gasket should be OK if not leaking. Be extra careful so as to remove the bolts on the back of cover without rounding off the boltheads. Very easy to round off, since you can't see back there. Then you have a real problem. Suggest using 6-point socket (7mm i think).

removing the cowl & windshield wiper arm assembly under the hood will give you much more space. Look for leakage around the lower intake gasket.

I'm fairly certain that's needed for work on a V6. This thread is abt a 4cyl.
