OK, 2005 caravan: problem started w/ a 'funky' rotten egg sulfur like smell, battery caps popped off, fluids everywhere. Still ran but started stuttering/hesitating to go but once accelerated somewhat levels out. Replaced battery but still hesitating in drive. Could the problem be the alternator? What all could happen to the emissions when battery does this if anything? Oh, and the MIL comes on now, flashes sometimes, stays on sometimes and sometimes doesn't come on at all. Never came on at all before except when key is in on position.
