Well, it happened AGAIN!!! The part from Dodge is now $145 CDN...way to much. Order some replacement aftermarket from RockAuto for $30. Mopar from RockAuto is $75 (half of what Dodge wants). This time I left the hoses attached at the bottom and just lifted the unit up and slightly inwards to get at the actuator. 5 min fix.

The only trouble I found that the after market ones don't seem to last as long as the oem parts. This was confirmed by an auto electric technician who specializes in automotive ac repairs. He claim that Dorman or four seasons or smp won't last as long as the oem part I've replaced mine 2 years ago with no issues it even re-calibrated itself. I know becuase last year I had to get my A/C refrigerant top up so i got him to check my blend doors at the same time he said they all operated correctly. I told him I had changed the rear one with an oem 2 years ago without re-claibration he said if you replace with a blend door with the oem make chances are you wont need a re-claibration it could do it itself.
