Default 2015 Grand Caravan - Rear A/C Issue

Rear A/C blows cold air for a given time and then stops blowing. Once it stops, you can still feel the coldness coming out of the vents, but no air movement or blowing. This is a continuous issue as it may blow with no issues for a long period or time or just last all of 30 seconds. Any ideas are appreciated....

Thank you.

auto or manual hvac?
when there is no movement of air...can you switch the rear temp controls to full hot and now have airflow?

Thanks. Manual air - 5 speeds I believe - Rear Controls can be overriden by front controls. Change in controls doesn't change the outcome. Cold vs Hot, Rear vs Front, High vs Low speed...all yield same results. Ideas?

Check for dtc in the hvac system. It may give you a clue. if not codes; I would confirm that the blower motor is moving, if its not, check for power to the blower motor...may be a bad blower motor resistor. You will have to test first...this involves accessing the rear hvac box....remove the rear seats and r/r quarter panel trim bezel to access the rear hvac box.

Hi satxchris,

Is your GC still within the basic 3/36 warranty? If so, we'd be happy to help get you in to the dealership to have it checked out under warranty.
