[5th Gen : 08+]: 2010 grand caravan 4 lt P2017 code
Hi my story started on a rainy day when I was driving to work with my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan the engine started to be shaky and dashboard lights started to flash the stability control and something like flash Thunder and engine check light I had to stop and try to solve the problem but I failed luckily I was able to pull it back to home
I pulled the van too one of the mechanics and he was unable to identify the problem we've tried several things from cleaning the throttle valves at the end one of the mechanics remove the intake manifold was able to see some oil on top of the valve system he informed me that the engine has gone bad so we decided to replace the engine
After replacing the engine the van maintained the same behavior and the codes remained although we reset the computer I was unable to identify the exact problem I still have oxygen sensors codes and the p two zero one seven code and engine remain shaky and the same flashing lights on the dashboard

i have the same problem with my 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan p2017 engine shaking and lightning bolt symbol, can’t barely drive the van. Did you ever end up finding the problem?
yes, water or moisture in the main computer beside the engine. Also i found oil in the cylinder head it might be caused by the faulty computer so check the computer and make sure it does not contain any water... good luck
yes that computer behind the fender, try to spray electronics cleaner and remove any moisture
