my caravan had the trans rebuilt at 88,000 miles,and now has 114,000. a few weeks ago it started hesitating on starts from a dead stop.i put lucas trans treatment in and all was fine for 2 weeks.then it would not down shift into first again at stops.now it won't shift out of first gear.i was told the vacuum modulator is shot.where is the vacuum modulator located on my trans, and what does it look like...??? also does this make sense to any one out there??

 

Chrysler does not use a vacuum modulator, what transmission is it, a 3 speed or a 4 speed??

 

3 speed.....drive,1st,and 2nd. but for now it's a one speed !! ha ha
