Default 2008 Grand Caravan Transmission.

I am currently experiencing a rear and weird challenge with my 2008 Grand Caravan. The engine grinds to a halt the moment I put the shift on DRIVE and also when I slow down on to a low speed when the granny should drop down to 1.
How ever the reverse gear works perfectly well.
I have just replaced the solenoid pack with a new one but it has not solved the problem.

Has anyone experienced the same problem or could anyone come up with a solution for this challenge.

Take it to a transmission shop for a diagnosis.

shop is probably a good idea

so it stalls in drive when stopped and coasting to a stop
any issues with the tcc
any shifting, bind up, slipping concerns
what does the fluid look like, smell burnt, brown colour
any dtc is setting
which solenoid did you replace or was it the complete valve body

I don't have any issues with binding or skipping and I changes the transmission fluid too(was quite dirty though but no burnt smell).
I changed the solenoid pack, the one attached to the valve body.. That's the way there sell it.
I have actually run a scan using the Autel diagnosis scanner but codes were dropped on the transmission. It however appears to me that the transmission is skipping 1 and 2 and jumping straight to 3 or 4. Like wise when I slow does not drop down to 2 or 1 making the car jerk to a stop.
