[4th Gen : 01-07]: 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan liftgate no power
Hi I have a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan with a power liftgate. The liftgate would pop open when you pressed the button on the keyfob but would stay partially latched, requiring you to use the key manually to open it the rest of the way. Found the latch assembly to be bad so I replaced it with a new one. Everything worked after installing but it needed some alignment adjustments to catch the paw. After aligning it and putting the linkage for the key lock back together it is not working unfortunately. There is power going to the liftgate module itself but no power going out to the liftgate motor or latch assembly I installed. Checked fuses in engine compartment and everything looks good. Any ideas on what might be causing no power to be sent out from the liftgate module? Thanks in advance!
I've also taken all the panels apart and visually inspected motor for binding. Checked new latch assembly for incorrect positioning with catch. Checked fuses, power, grounds. Everything looks good except for no power coming out of the liftgate module.
IOD fuse looks good, hard reset has resolved nothing by draining the capacitors and reconnecting battery.
