Default Replaced ERG Valve

I just replaced my ERG valve and it still is throwing the code P0404

This is what it says on the code.

Code P0404 indicates that the Exhaust Gas Re-circulation Control Electrical circuit was out of its operating range or had a performace problem for a predetermined period of time.

So since I replace the ERG valve, does this mean there is something wrong with the electrical wiring?

I use the van for my ministry, not really able to afford another one. Has about 136,000 miles, I try and do most of the work on it myself, but this has me very puzzled, and need to get the van inspected so I can keep it on the wrong, but with engine light on, they will not pass it. NEED SERIOUS HELPFUL ADVICE.

Thanks for your time.

Try another EGR valve/transducer. It seems bad electronic parts have become a thing for our era vans. I had to get 3 different EGR transducers (the electronic part that controls the EGR valve) before I found one that works.
