Hi there!

So about 2 months ago I bought a 2012 SE from a Volkswagon dealership, pre owned it came within 164,000kms on it and the logged codes of p0304 and p000d. Mechanic was happy this was a old solved problem. Since then I've only put 1,500kms on.

Yesterday my engine light came on. I pulled over checked all I could check in -30. Checked the dash code and it was p0000. Drove it 30km and all felt good.

This morning I go to go to work, had it plugged in due to extreme cold -37. Idled it for 10mins went to reverse and it cut out, all electrics still on. Put it in drive and managed to re park. Tried again and it cut out once more, re parked it and walked!

What could cause this? The dealership is happy to take a look but I don't/can't drive the 100km to the dealership incase it cuts out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm a new driver and generally just don't have the experience and know how if something feels or sounds wrong!
