On Christmas I went to start my van and my key would not turn forward or back. I made sure it was in park and that my steering wheel wasn't locked. No luck. My older brother came to look at it and thought it was my tumblers and tried to get to them. No luck. My younger brother came the next day and somehow got the key to turn. He started my van 3 times and then it died. We tried jumping it with no luck. All lights work as well as radio. Another friend came over with a computer and the code p0513 came up saying invalid skim key and my security light was on. I only have one key and we tried DIY re-programming and have had no luck. Has anyone else experienced this and been able to fix it without going to the dealership?!
