2001 caravan tranny fit 02 caravan sport?
I have a 2002 Dodge Caravan sport that the transmission went out on 2 days ago... My brother has a 01 Dodge Caravan that the head gasket is blown but the transmission is good are they interchangeable?

According to car-parts.com the 2001 and 2002 transmissions are interchangeable as long as both vans have the same size engine.
If one has the 3.3L and the other has the 3.8L engine the transmission will work but the final drive ratio is different, that can be corrected by swapping the the transfer gears (located under the side cover) between the transmissions.
