Default 2004 Dodge Caravan brakes locking up

Hi
My father has a 2004 Dodge Caravan that both front brakes lock up while he is driving, he has bled them when this has happened with little to know help, problem will usually clear up in about 20 minutes of sitting on the side of the road and then can go for months without happening again, he has researched this and other people have had this problem, but no one seems to have a solution or has posted one. He has changed out front rotors and brakes twice because it warped them. A friend of mine is having the same problem with their van it is a 2003. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I figured if any one would no about this they would be on this forum.

If there are rubber brake hoses involved, replace them. They can swell up inside and cause the fluid not to be able to be released. Kind of act like a check valve. Letting fluid in and not letting it bleed off when the brakes are released. Also, check your caliper pistons. Those may be sticking as well.

The caliper pistons look fine and we have kicked the idea about the brake lines around, but wouldn't they lock up and stay locked up if they were bad. Also forgot to mention this will also happen when driving down the road and not even touching the brakes.

Not necessarily. Can slowly bleed off when not under pressure. Just offering another thing to check.
