tie rod torque specs
Hi,
I need to replace the inner tie rods on my 2013 Dodge Caravan.
Could someone please let me know what the correct torque specs are for the parts I'm replacing and re-installing (outer tie-rod)?
Is the "special" tool needed to remove/install the inner-tie rod required? I could rent one if need be.
thanks

use medium strenght threadlocker on the inner tie rod to rack threads. torque to 65ft/lbs
torque the outer tie rod to 55 ft/lbs and use a new nylock locking nut if factory tie rod end. aftermarket tie rod end may use a castellated nut and cotter pin
check all the suspension components and if they are ok...get a wheel alignment.
