Error Codes 0700 and 0740 on 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.8 LE. Need location diagram of torque converter clutch solenoid…..and how to obtain it. Have read numerous blogs and talked with several people, including auto parts and dealerships (none have separate solenoid listed), with conflicting locations: inside the pan; part of solenoid pack; torque converter. Have replaced TCM and solenoid pack. Only noticeable issues besides “Service Engine Soon” light are: loss of gas mileage from 19.8 mpg to 16.7 mpg(dropped down from 17.7 a couple of days ago); backfire on rapid acceleration; occasional hard downshift coming to a stop.Suggestions?
