HI, i have a 2011 dodge grand caravan with the basic sound system. The radio will not play radio, aux, or cd volume. while switching stations or to aux, i will get a burp in speakers for a brief moment, then no sound. Im a lube tech with electric skills so any measurement or scope work is possible. I see a amp in the wiring diagram but am still unsure if ripping apart the back paneling will get me further into the diag. no fuses blown.

Just want a direction if i should be looking for a bad amp, deck, or speaker. Thanks.

 

I had the same thing happen on 2006 Chrysler town and country.........picked up an amp at the local auto salvage lot and it was like new
hardest part was finding it......in the back rear passenger side over wheelwell.......I was lucky the yard I went to was a pick a part so you had to remove it yourself
so I learned how to get it out without tearing up my van
