[General]: Ever Try Super-Duper Brakes on a Minivan?
Hello,
Has anyone ever tried using high performance brake pads & rotors on a minivan? I am in need of brakes and am deciding if I should upgrade. I have been disappointed with the braking performance in the past, on this van, with ceramic, and semi-metallic.
I live in Cleveland, Ohio and don't want to lock-up my brakes often in the wintertime either.
Anyone have any advice. I would highly appreciate ANY feedback on this topic.

What about the braking performance is disappointing? Is there a particular problem you’re experiencing?
There’s really nothing to be gained with “high performance” brake parts if your van is a daily driver. The rotors have a few extra features to provide more efficient heat dissipation, otherwise the calipers are more or less the same except for a flashy paint job. The pads will still be primarily made of ceramic.
If you’re concerned about brakes locking up, just make sure the calipers are operating the way they should be, the ABS is functional, and give yourself plenty of stopping distance.
