Default Tire Recommendations?

I've always bought the cheapest tires I can get, but I've learned recently that tires can affect the smoothness of your ride.

I'm going to need tires soon for a 2017 Grand Caravan, any suggested brands?

I like Michelin and goodyear brands. I've tried the cheaper route and for the most part it was a fail. don't buy Walmart or Canadian tire brand tires. I've had sidewall variation induced vibrations.

I bought a cheaper line of kellys and they were ok...cheaper tire...smooth but short life 40 000kilometers

I also usually pay a premium price and go with Michelin's, however the last set I bought was a Michelin Defender. I have not been happy with them. They are rough, loud and terrible in the rain and slop. I don't know what I'll buy next but I know it won't be the Defender.
