Ok so i got a 07 grand caravan with a 3.3l motor that started knocking real bad and then came across a 2004 Chrysler town & country with a 3.8l motor low miles turns over and runs great cept its rear is totaled. I spoke to a supposive Dodge specialist and he told me Motors were compatible and it should just bolt right in. I got those Motors out of the vehicles and I'm ready to put the 3.8 into the cravan. But im just unsure if there isnt anything else that i need to do besides put it in.... Im also swapoing the ecu/ecm to keep it firing the same. Im leaving the trans alone and most everything else cept the actual motor and the ecu..... Is this coreect or should i be adding/removing anything else.... Any help and info would be most appretiated.
