Default Van won't start after cleaning fuel injectors

Hello all, I have a 2008 SXT 3.8 Caravan that recently began running very rough. It through a P0204 code. I took the injectors out and cleaned them, Ohm tested and put everything back. Now I can't get the van to start. I just get a click when I turn the key, doesn't even try to start. I did turn the battery on a few times to let the fuel pump move fuel up into the injectors. The battery seems to be fine. Any suggestions on what I might have done?

I assume you already checked the cables on the starter solenoid and the starter. If you haven't well then that's first.
Second check to see that voltage was flowing to the starter when key is in start position.
If both of those things are good and it's still not turning over then, and this is a long shot, but put a jumper cable between the block and the body to see if you just need a ground.
If the ground cable to your block is corroded and/or it came off then power can't flow through the starter because it can't return to the battery which it must do in a DC circuit.

If you find that you have no voltage at the starter when you turn the key start looking at fuses to see if there is one between the battery and the starter. I'm not sure, I've never had that issue since I usually just find the starter is shot and that's all.

Word of advice for your trouble shooting skills I'm a professional electrician with over 40 yrs of experience with top trouble shooting skills on power and control. A good trouble shooter will have to use his knowledge and experience to make plan of attack derived from the single line drawing of the culprit circuit. ALWAYS and I say again ALWAYS check for the simplest solution to the cause of the problem FIRST check your fuses no need to complicate things, then you can proceed further if needed. I can't begin to fathom trying to recall the numerous request we've received for trouble calls that ended up simply being burnt fuses or tripped circuit breakers. People then to think of the problem being worst case rather than to check for the simplest causes first.
