Default Head gasket or no?

2009 Grand Caravan, 3.3L V6.
In the winter van will not lose a lot of engine coolant. In the summer, it loses much more fluid and more frequently. The temp rises much sooner on gauge than in the winter.
Is that possibly a symptom of a bad head gasket?

Your engine gets to ~200F year round so if you only lose in the summer I would suspect the other components that aren't so well regulated. The head gasket is one of the most stable temperature areas of the engine because it is inches from the thermostat.
