Default 2015 no heat drivers side of the van

Hi folks new guy here. I have looked at all 60 pages in this forum on the gen 5 vans.

I have a 15 crew plus with separate digital controls for heat and air.

The passenger side works perfectly with heat and cooling. It does floor, vents and defrost the way it should

the rear works the way it should.

The drivers side will only blow cold air, there is no heat coming at all. There is cold air coming out on the floor, vents and windshield where you set the controls. Just no heat!!

Is there a blend door on drivers side that is not working??

Is it possible a mouse chewed a wire. The cabin filter had some chew marks in it.

Sound like the blend door is not moving check underneath the dash on the driver side and locate the blend door actuator then cycle between hot and cold check for movement of the blend door. If no movement you can tap the blend door actuator with the end of screw driver if no change you'll have to take the blend door actuator off and check operation also check to make sure that the blend door isn't stuck in one position you should be able to move it freely by hand. Then you can also check your wires while under the dash which should be ok otherwise you'd have a fault indication on your climate control.

Blend door actuators have plastic gears and they often strip or break if you need to replace the blend door actuator I suggest getting the OEM vs the aftermarket heard a lot people having issues with aftermarket blend door actuators. You can get OEM parts online for a reasonable price.
